Testimonials

Back in 2007 Mr Callan introduced me to Mr Q and I hired him to train my teachers in Vevey. It was a fantastic experience! He has deep knowledge of the Callan Method and is an excellent teacher and trainer! Highly recommended!

Having lessons at Mr Q School helped me a lot in my career. Even if you speak English with reasonable fluency you can benefit having lessons at Mr Q School. I always recommend this school!

I studied at this school from March 2003 to December 2005. By February 2006 I already had my FCE, the University of Cambridge proficiency certificate! I was so happy that, out of gratitude, I wrote a recommendation letter and had my signature notarised so the school could keep it. When you contact the school, you can ask to see my letter!

I've had English classes at Mr Q School which has been very important for my learning and development. The methodology and attention with the students is very helpful. I've got a very good score in ANAC English test for pilots.

I strongly recommend Mr. Q English School and Training. Their classes are tailored to fit each student educational needs. The school staff and environment are very friendly to welcome and provide the best learning experience of the English language. The teachers are highly skilled and focused on teaching and preparing students with an extraordinary methodology that will help you to use the English language in any social or daily event as well with your professional career. Thank you Mr. Q school and training for mentor and teach me the solid skills that helped me to achieve and master the fascinating English language.

Mr Q impressed me with his dynamic style, his teaching skills and his friendliness. I had in-company lessons with him some years ago and it was an enriching experience. I recommend him without hesitation.

A different and practical way to learn. I took the course and it helped me a lot. I recommend it!

I was very well looked after from the very beginning, when I first asked for information about the course. The school was very welcoming: they treated me extremely well and answered all my questions. Congratulations to the school!

I have known the person behind Mr Q since around 2013. He is an extremely competent professional in his field, always willing to improve and to find new solutions for whatever isn't working. For many years he looked after the technical and administrative side of a well-known NGO as a volunteer, almost single-handedly. Highly recommended!

I have known the person behind Mr Q School for more than 20 years, since we worked together at Congonhas Airport. I followed his journey closely from the very beginning, when I encouraged him to go to England. At the time he spoke no English at all. I saw his determination as he fought to save money and go back to England to study the language. He learned it quickly and soon started giving private English lessons, until he became very successful. It is no accident that he does so well as an English teacher. He comes from a humble background and overcame the hardships of poverty. I could not fail to write about this friend, who has taught so many people to speak English, has employed dozens of teachers and has helped many others to open their own schools. He still always finds time for his friends and lives his life simply. I recommend the school to everyone I know. If you are looking for a serious school that is committed to its students' success, you have certainly found it. A BIG hug to everyone at the school!

I worked as an English Instructor at Mr Q school in São Paulo, Brazil in 2012. It's suffice to say that after the passing of six years, I write this highly positive recommendation with much zeal. Mr Q School stands out as very professional and with highly-skilled individuals in both teaching and dealing with students. For any prospective overseas teachers with trepidation over the thought of embarking on the daunting journey and the inordinate challenges of working abroad, let me assure you, you're in safe hands. I was given ample support from airport pickup/drop off to complimentary Portuguese language classes. The school team is highly affable and friendly yet commands respect from their students and employees. The school provides professional support by way of a comprehensive training period as well as constructive and continual feedback. The school also allows for development opportunities and is happy to delegate managment duties to allow one to gain new skills. I wrote this with much nostalgia and I can say that a position in Mr Q school as well as the mentorship is enviable.

Mr Q School is an excellent place to learn and improve skills as a professional Callan Method teacher. Everything I know about the Callan Method I learnt at Mr Q School!

My husband Andreas and I took the training together, and it prepared us to open Brits School in Arujá many years ago. The school was so successful that we had no difficulty selling it when we had to move to another country. The training offered by Mr Q School is well worth it! We learned a lot, and we always recommend this training and consultancy to anyone planning to open an English school with the Callan Method. I also received a great deal of encouragement and support at the start of my career as a forensic interpreter. Our professional relationship became a wonderful friendship of many years.

Nancy recorded her recommendation of Mr Q's training on video. Watch the video recommendation.
